Shotcraft Golf

What it fixes
A steep, over-the-top downswing that doesn't shallow the club. The weighted base (3 lb) holds an alignment rod in 11 preset slots at Tour-derived angles — swing over the rod and you hit the stick; swing under it and you've shallowed correctly (constraints-led learning). Designed by Clay Ballard.
- ✓Inside swing path for draws (1 slot)
- ✓Wedge impact / forward shaft lean for ball-first compression, plus a 30° wedge launch slot
- ✓Square divots / angle of attack (2 slots)
- ✓Alignment and ball position (3 slots)
- ✓Putting path practice (maker claim; no dedicated putting slot in the 11-slot breakdown)
Best for
Steep, over-the-top golfers who want to shallow, swing from the inside and hit draws; golfers who want one multi-drill station that works on a mat where you can't push a rod into turf.
Not ideal for
Golfers wanting electronic measurement/data — purely physical constraint aid, no sensor/app (inference). The Wedge Impact slot specifically is incompatible for left-handers (maker-stated); other functions have a left-handed setup.
Skill level: All handicaps (maker FAQ: beginners see dramatic improvement, mid-handicappers break through, low handicappers fine-tune).
How it's used
Range, home/garage and indoor simulator; turf or hitting mat, with or without hitting balls; works with every club including putter. Package includes the base, 2 collapsible alignment rods (44in extended), drill videos and a quick-start guide.
